dear readers, are you still there? i wouldn't be surprised if you have drifted away just as i have done for the past month or so. when there are long pauses, as you might have gathered, the blog falls by the wayside. in an effort to be more diligent in finding references, curious pieces of information, and other little glittering gems of interest, i resolve to research, write, and update this blog at least twice a week. several posts will follow this one to get caught up, but for now i leave you with a little detail from love & its opposite.
