first sketch

after viewing blogs by artists, i think it is time to exploit this medium to keep those close to my heart, yet physically far flung, up to date on the little and big things guiding my life and the lives of those around me.

birthday has come and gone, but not without some fun. two of my very close first year mfa friends and i have birthdays within 10 days of each other, so we threw a "fish party."

work is up and on view for the "director's cut" exhibition at the art league of long island. studio program directors from long island universities were invited to select one student to represent their respective school for the show. some images from the reception... thank you kathryn for your all seeing and capturing camera!
